Rare pink enamel lavabo

I don’t often buy these, but when they’re in this pretty soft pink I can’t resist. Pink enamel is so rare in France and it just looks so gorgeous with Spring and Summer blooms. Originally this would have held water in the top which would be released into the sink below for washing. Now they are such a pretty feature inside or out. Perfect to plant up ( I’m thinking lavender) or pretty just as they are or filled with dried or fresh flowers ( you might need to pop a container in the top to make sure it’s watertight. There’s a bit of rust as always with vintage enamel but it’s mainly hidden by the lid at the top.
