Chippy French trunk

I had to wrestle with myself not to keep this!! It’s a fabulous old tradesman’s tool box with all its old layers of paint and the owner’s name carved into the top. It originally had a thick leather handle and you can see where it was fixed at either side. Great as a side table or to display a jug of flowers on top , it has the perfect shabby faded look There are knocks and cracks to the wood showing its life as a utility item so it’s not for you if you like perfect!! but to me these things make it perfect.
