Rustic French wash box

Originally used to kneel on whilst washing clothes, these wash boxes ( also known as a carrosse) now make great display pieces . Stand it on a worktop or add some fixings and hang on a wall then display some of your favourite things or use it to hold books . This one is lovely bleached wood with some remains of old paint - including that gorgeous Provence blue and is a great size. There are some historic woodworm holes but they have been treated.
