Victorian ironstone cake plate

This fabulous plate is made of white ironstone and would originally have been used as the weighing plate on a set of shop scales for weighing cheese, butter etc. There is a transfer of the makers name - Day and Millward in the centre . It is a great display piece or would be great for serving at the table … maybe cheese and grapes . In good vintage condition with just a few signs of wear .
