1970’s French still life

This isn’t my normal sort of painting but as soon as i saw it I had to buy it . I love the simplicity of the subject, the colours and the stylish wooden frame . It’s signed and dated ‘79! and has some writing an the rear of the board. There is a small hole to the top as if someone was going to nail it to a wall.. but it’s nothing major. Fabulous in a cool contemporary setting or a rustic home.
