This is special- I’m finding it harder and harder to find pieces like this and this one is gorgeous. A white ironstone pot with blue detailing and bold black lettering , made by K&G Luneville factory in Luneville ( famous for Felix Potin jars). This would have been used to hold moutarde ( mustard) in a shop or restaurant and would have been used daily. It’s in great condition with some wear around the handles, rim and base but it’s minimal for its age and the lettering is strong. There is an old price label on the base saying Luneville and 400 francs plus another line saying 220 and a word I can’t make out! Fabulous to display in a shelf or worktop and perfect for some flowers .
