Fabulous French ‘eau froid’ jug

These enamel jugs are really hard to find .Dating from between the 2 world wars they have the words ‘eau froid’ ( cold water) enamelled into the surface. They would have been used in a municipal building or hospital. This one is a tall pitcher , absolutely perfect for flowers, grasses or greenery ( I’m thinking eucalyptus or delphiniums). and is watertight. It is so attractive that it could just be placed as it is on a worktop or table . A really special piece
