French servants bell box

Oh wow - I was very happy to spot this by torchlight on our last trip- the seller had just taken it out of his van so I was lucky. These boxes are hard to find , especially in such good condition. This one has all its room names ( including a bibliothèque- library!) intact along with the flag markers that would show when that bell was rung. A fabulous decorative piece for a kitchen or hall or would be great in a restaurant or shop.
