Large French confiture pot

I love the shape of this old jam pot and the gorgeous typography and decoration. It dates from the late 1800’s and is a fabulous decorative piece that has been in my own collection for a few years. Great to pop on a shelf or to hold a big flower head or soap. There are a few nibbles around the edges and a hairline but these are just commensurate with age and don’t detract.
