Rustic French wash board

This is an original French washboard ( not one of the reproductions that are around) and it’s fabulously rustic with its original hanging rope . It would look great displayed in a kitchen or utility room - either hanging or flat with some essentials popped on top. It could also be used as a bath board or on a table to display candles and some little pots of flowers - I suppose you could even scrub your socks on it if you fancy!!
