Vintage enamelled foot warmer

I love these and they’re really hard to find in pretty colours. Originally they would have been filled with hot coals to warm a ladies feet in a carriage, but now they are pretty decorative items . You can pop a few tea lights inside to flicker through the top , or add a few small pots of water ( or a cut down ice cream tub) and use to display flowers- the gridded top works brilliantly. The inside shows signs of its original use but it’s just a thing of beauty.
